The clients desire was to own a Georgian Rectory and found a site where we were able to glean permissions to replace the dwelling with a building replicating the vernacular but formal style.

  • The walls were built in carfully proportioned flemish bond brick work in colour matched mortar to highlight the bricklaying.
  • Deeps sash windows to resemble the style of the period were included, double glazed and in high performace timber.
  • To suit the site levels the rear of the house was elevated to create fomal patio areas, and a large breeze house at the rear of the garden as a focal point.
