To demolish and construct a new home set amoungst National Trust land. The bungalow was demolished to make way for a vernacular home, built on two stories with long catslide roofs.
The brick and tile choice were blended to suit the surroundings.
An oak screen with long galleried section gave an interesting front elevation with long eyebrow overhangs.
To appease planners a "Chalet" looking style was created at the front, whereas the rear elevation was double gabled and heavily fenestrated with views over the garden.
